NOFA‐NH Tenth Annual Winter Conference: Growing Food, Farms, and Community

Northeast SARE is proud to sponsor reknowned author Frances Moore Lappé to deliver the keynote address at this year's NOFA-NH Winter Conference. Drawing from her research projects, books, and philanthropic endeavors, Ms Lappe` will speak to practical ways to act and think ‘like an ecosystem’ in order to improve farm viability & garden productivity, and to enhance land stewardship. Her research supports jobs creation and increased sustainable production of healthy and marketable products from existing farm waste streams. She inspires people to engage their curiosity, to network and create abundance, to find ways to reduce the footprint of food production while simultaneously improving the health and vitality of the land in production. Ms Lappé speaks to these possibilities within the context of wider community sustainability and economic well‐being.
